Hi! I'm Caro Griffin. 👋
I'm a Mexico City–based event and retreat planner, Certified Mezcal Sommelier, and host of the Between Drinks podcast.
Before falling headfirst into the world of drinks and hospitality, I spent a decade in operations leadership, which is really just a formal way of saying I don't let details slip.
These days that shows up as a masterclass at the Mexican Embassy in Tokyo, a team retreat that ends at Lucha Libre, or a client's cocktail hour that actually runs on time.
I plan the parts most people don't think about until they go wrong—and make sure the parts people do notice feel genuinely good.
Outside of work, you can often find me reading at a cafe or hosting mezcal tastings.
My prior experience:
- I was most recently the General Manager of Tech Ladies, the largest community of women in tech.
- Before taking over as GM, I was employee #1 at Tech Ladies, where I oversaw product, growth, and finance, validated new lines of business with no-code tools, and helped turn the community into a seven-figure business.
- I'm a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) with deep experience in building scalable and inclusive recruiting programs.
- I've honed my operational skills through my work with startups like Skillcrush, Byteboard, and Deskpass, among others
